July 30th – August 9th
The Colorado Zephyrs Railcar Company will be traveling from Denver to the beautiful Northern Michigan resort town of Petoskey, Michigan, just an hour from Mackinaw City & Mackinac Island. We will be joining the Cincinnati Railway Company and Lake Central Rail Tours, and enjoy a unique journey with up to twelve other Private Railcars from all over the Country. We will be selling sleeping accommodations (bedrooms, roomettes & sections) on the Colorado Pine and Oliver Hazard Perry, both decked out in Louisville & Nashville RR colors.
Wednesday July 30 – 7:00 PM - Board train in Denver at Denver Union Station (or at Chicago on August 1). Dinner & Drinks will be served on board before your retire to your sleeping quarters.
Thursday July 31 - Awake enroute to Chicago behind Amtrak's California Zephyr and arrive in Chicago approximately 3:20 pm. Breakfast and lunch will be served, and dinner will be on your own in Chicago as you explore the city before retiring back to your railcar at the end of the day. All passengers will be responsible for their own travel upon arrival in Chicago, however, we will more than happy to provide you with the information to help you get around!
Friday August 1 – Awake in Chicago to one more morning/afternoon before departure. Breakfast will be served and lunch will be on your own, but be sure to be back to the cars by 1:30 pm, as we will depart Chicago at 3:00p on the Blue Water, arriving in Durand at 9:07p. Additional passengers will board the Oliver Hazard Perry in Chicago. Dinner & Drinks will be served on board. Overnight, we will be traveling from Durand to Owosso while you are gently rocked to sleep.
Saturday August 2 - Awake at your leisure, and head to the Perry for breakfast. We will be departing Owosso at 8:00 am, and arriving in Marion, Mi approximately 11:45am for a 2 hour layover for the Marion Old Fashioned Days.
During this time, passengers can disembark for lunch as the train is serviced in Marion. We will depart Marion at 1:45p, and arrive in Cadillac at 2:30p, where we will switch locomotives and depart Cadillac at 2:45p. We will arrive in Fife Lake at 3:45p, for a 2 hour layover. Enjoy the swimming hole and let the community of Fife Lake show you around town! Feel free to grab a bite to eat while you're there, but don't forget to save yourself for the Boyne Falls Polish Festival http://www.boynefallspolishfestival.com/ later that night! We should arrive in Boyne Falls at 8:00p and stay for a 2 hour layover while passengers enjoy the festival! We will depart Boyne Falls at 10:00p and arrive in Petoskey at 11:00p. Retire to your sleeping quarters for the evening.

Tuesday August 5 - Layover in Petoskey – Breakfast Served. Suggestion: check out http://www.mackinac.com/
Wednesday August 6 – We will depart Petoskey at 8:00a and arrive in Cadillac at 12:30p, service cars and explore Cadillac for shopping and lunch. We will depart Cadillac at 2:30p and arrive in Mt. Pleasant at 5:00p, for dinner at the Mountaintown Station http://www.mountaintown.com/ and a 2-hour layover. We will depart Mt. Pleasant at 7:00p, and arrive in Owosso at 9:15p.
Thursday August 7 - We will depart Durand at 7:02a and arrive back in Chicago at 11:14a Breakfast will be served on board and you will have the remainder of the day to spend in Chicago as you wish for lunch and dinner.
Friday August 8 - Breakfast will be served before you spend another full day in Chicago. Lunch and Dinner will be on your own.
Saturday August 9 - We will depart Chicago at 2:30pm and one final grand dinner will be served on board before retiring to your rooms for the end of the night.
Sunday August 10 - Arrive in Denver at approximately 7:30 AM. Disembark at Denver Union Station in the morning after a light breakfast and coffee.
